Onion Rings


Ingredients

  • 2 large onions
  • Salt and pepper
  • Canola or vegetable oil

Batter

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups beer

Directions

  • Slice onions
  • In pan, fry onions in oil until both sides are slightly browned
  • Cool in fridge
  • Separate into rings after cool
  • Toss onion rings in 1 cup flour
  • Dip into batter
  • Fry in vegetable oil (350°) flipping once, for a total of about 3 min
