Scotcheroos

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12 oz bag butterscotch chips
  • 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • Grease 9x13 pan.
  • Place cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  • In large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  • Pour mixture over rice and stir until evenly coated.
  • Press mixture into pan.
  • Place chocolate and butterscotch chips in a bown, microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until chips are melted and smooth.
  • Spread topping over bars.
  • Allow to cool then cut into bars.
