Carrot Cake
Bake at: 325 degrees for 1 hr
Sift Together
- 2 ½ cups cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
Add
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups oil
- 4 eggs, one at a time
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, juice and all
- 2 cups shredded carrots, about 8 med carrots
- 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour in 9x13 pan
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 8oz package of cream cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Beat well and put on cooled cake
