Orange Chicken


Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts
  • Green onion
  • Sesame seeds
  • Orange sauce
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Dry Mix

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper

Dredge

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Thin as needed with additional water

Directions

  • Cut chicken into chunks
  • Roll in dry mix, then in dredge
  • Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy, 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Top with sesame seeds and/or green onion
